Girls lead the way: CBSE Class 12 results show 6.01% higher success rate than boys

CBSE Class 12 Results Announced: Girls Outshine Boys by 6.01%

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the results of the Class 12 final examinations with an overall passing percentage of 87.33%. This year, as per officials, the national pass percentage has fallen, but the Trivandrum region tops with a remarkable 99.91% pass rate.

Among the students who appeared for the exams, girls outshined boys by 6.01%, with a success rate of 90.68%. The CBSE Class 12 board exams were held in February, March and April, with 16,96,770 students eligible to appear.

To avoid unhealthy competition, CBSE will not award first, second and third divisions to its students. Instead, the board will award merit certificates to the 0.1% of students who scored the highest marks in subjects.

Recently, the board has issued an official notice regarding the security pin for DigiLocker. The six-digit security pins for activating students’ DigiLocker accounts can be downloaded by schools using their LOC credentials from digilocker.gov.in.

It is important to note that mark sheets and passing certificates will be uploaded on DigiLocker for all applicants who appeared for the exams. Students can activate their CBSE Result DigiLocker accounts using their security pins and download digital copies of their marks sheets and certificates.

Students can check their marks on results.cbse.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in or digilocker.gov.in using their roll number, school number, admit card ID, and date of birth. Additionally, the results can be checked on the UMANG app.
